Will these Greyhound Mugs Race Off the Shelves?

If you love greyhounds, you'll love these fine bone china mugs, made in the Staffordshire Potteries, featuring Skozi the Greyhound in a black design on a white background. They are the latest addition to my range joining Coco the Cat and Donkey.

Great gift idea for greyhound lovers
Is this what you call a mug shot?

Skozi, known as Pooh to his friends (short for Pooh-Bah, after the Mikado character) is a 6 six year old retired racer. He was a Poole Stadium dog, rehomed by the Dorset RGT three years ago and he's ruled my life ever since. He still enjoys a good run on the beach or open field but is a complete couch potato at all other times.

Perfect for making a dog's dinner

Rosie the Border Collie - new addition to The Gang

Rosie is one of Skozi the Greyhound's (many) girlfriends. She is a lovely border collie (which are also known as sheepdogs) and she lives on the same country estate in East Devon with Laura and Ellen. She is very distinctive with a half white, half black face rather than the usual black face with a white blaze. Stones are her thing - chasing, chewing, herding .....
She will feature on cushions, aprons and tea towels and will be in the on-line shop soon!

Hard day at the office

It's very hard being a male model. Posing for those cushion covers and aprons really takes it out of you. Just have to chill in my Ma's workshop ....

TomCat at HALFF

We were very pleased to be asked to provide Christmas stock for a local charity in Axminster to sell in their shop. Health and Local Food for Families (HALFF) was set up to help people to cook delicious healthy food for themselves and their children and to promote local food. So in amongst the leeks and cabbages you can find a chicken cushion, donkey tea towel or cat mug! Tiggi, who runs the charity with a team of volunteers has done a marvellous job in building a really fetching display. It's our first foray into the world of non-internet retail so quite excitied to see how it goes.
You can find out more about their work here

Donkey Sanctuary Autumn Craft Fair 2012

We took a stand at this year's fair held to raise funds for the charity which looks after donkeys both in the UK and abroad. Although it stayed fine on the day it was very wet underfoot and very damp and cold in the tent. Partly due to the weather and partly due to a new John Lewis store opening in Exeter attendance was on the poor side. Still, all in a good cause! Sarah's no Chicken

Sarah about to print a chicken!
Sarah's mum knocked on my workshop door at the start of the summer asking if we could give her daughter Sarah some work experience. Sarah is studying at Plymouth College of Art and Design. So for about 3 months our numbers doubled - i.e there were two of us - which was fun. Sarah proved to be a dab hand at stencil cutting and printing and you can see her handiwork in the Chicken cushions and tea towels, a project I devised to allow her to get her hands dirty - literally. Sarah is back in Plymouth in her final year but I'm hoping she might come back and do some more printing in those long student vacs.
